This is the best and easiest corn on the cob recipe that I learned when I was young. I have used this for 40 years, and it has never failed to produce the most wonderful corn on the cob.
Ingredients
- 0.25 teaspoons white sugar
- 4 earss corn , husked and cleaned

Bring a large pot of water to a boil; stir in sugar until dissolved. Add corn; cover the pot. Turn off the heat, leaving the pot on the hot burner; steep corn in hot water until tender, about 25 minutes. Drain.
