I got this easy, gooey caramel roll recipe from my aunt. It's a Christmas morning tradition and always a hit at church. We sometimes add chopped pecans before we bake them.
Ingredients
- 24 frozens dinner roll dough , thawed, divided
- 0.5 cups butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 package cook & serve vanilla pudding mix , 4.6 ounce
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 0.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
-
1
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place 12 dinner rolls in the prepared baking dish.
-
2
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat; stir in brown sugar, pudding mix, milk, and cinnamon until smooth. Pour brown sugar mixture over rolls; top with remaining 12 rolls. Allow rolls to rise for 3 hours.
-
3
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
-
4
Bake in the preheated oven until rolls are cooked through, 30 to 35 minutes. Cool before serving, 15 minutes.

Make-Ahead Blueberry-Cinnamon Muffins
This recipe allows you to make the muffin batter the night before, then bake it the next morning--perfect for fresh, on-the-go muffins! Make sure not to overmix the batter as that will create dense muffins that won't rise well. The batter will last in the fridge up to 5 days which means you can make a few muffins at a time over the course of a few days, if you desire.
Beer Floats
Depending on whom you talk to, making ice cream floats with beer is either a genius idea or a horrible mistake. The key is to choose a beer on the toasty, malty, sweeter side and stay away from beers that are too hoppy, dry, and bitter. Here I offer two recipe versions: coffee ice cream with stout and vanilla ice cream (the safest option) with a Belgian raspberry sour (or any fruity beer). I'd make a small test glass first to ensure it works for your palate.
Chocolate-Cran-Oat Cookies
A chewy chocolate mix with dried cranberries - a holiday treat! I prefer to use white whole wheat flour because it's not as heavy as regular whole wheat flour.
