Ground chicken, Italian chicken sausage, cheese, breadcrumbs, and parsley combine in this quick and chicken meatloaf that's drizzled with a garlic-butter glaze. One tasty dish you'll be making over and over again.
Ingredients
- 8 cloves garlic , minced, divided
- 0.25 cups onion
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 0.33 cups half and half
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 0.75 cups grated Parmesan cheese , divided
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 pound talian chicken sausage , casings removed
- 1.25 teaspoons kosher salt
- 0.5 teaspoons pepper
- 0.5 cups talian breadcrumbs
- 0.25 cups white wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 0.25 teaspoons crushed red pepper
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Lightly grease a loaf pan.
-
2
Combine 6 cloves garlic, onion, egg, egg yolk, half and half, 2 tablespoons parsley and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan in a bowl; mix until well combined. Add ground chicken, sausage, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper; mix until combined. Fold in breadcrumbs until evenly mixed and form into a loaf shape.
-
3
Transfer mixture into the prepared pan and sprinkle the top evenly with 1 1/2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.
-
4
Bake in the preheated oven until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (73 degrees C), 35 to 40 minutes. Let rest while the sauce is prepared.
-
5
Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add remaining 2 cloves garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in wine and broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until reduced by about 3/4 (you should have about 1/3 cup remaining).
-
6
Turn off heat and gradually whisk in cubed butter. Stir in remaining Parmesan cheese and parsley. Season with remaining salt and crushed red pepper flakes.
-
7
Slice meatloaf and serve drizzled with garlic butter sauce.

Tender Tomato Chicken Breasts
This stewed chicken and tomato recipe is a light, juicy, flavorful dish. Being a mom of a 7-month-old child, I've learned to take a lot of shortcuts and still be able to cook quality food. This is quick, easy, and tasty. If you absolutely must use fresh veggies, that's ok, but frozen veggies, in my opinion, work a little bit better. Serve with rice, if desired. To kick it up a bit, add chopped green peppers in with the tomatoes.
Mini Pecan Pies
These mini pecan pies are great for the holidays or an easy, elegant dessert anytime. The use of light corn syrup lets the pecan goodness shine through, rather than overwhelming with sugary sweetness. They're delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream.

This strawberry agua fresca is an extremely flavorful and refreshing chilled Mexican drink you can easily make at home, especially in summer when fresh strawberries are in season.
