This garlic chicken is simple to make — just dip and bake. Garlicky goodness in a breaded chicken dish. Yum!

- 2 cloves garlic , crushed
- 0.25 cups Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- 0.25 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 skinless , boneless chicken breast halves
Instructions
-
1
Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

2
Heat olive oil and garlic in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed, 1 to 2 minutes. Pour into a shallow bowl.
-
3
Combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in a separate shallow bowl.
-
4
Use tongs to dip chicken breasts in olive oil-garlic mixture, then coat evenly in bread crumb mixture. Transfer coated chicken to a shallow baking dish.

Simple, delicious homemade bread in a bag! Great for kids who are anxious to help out with dinner. Simply squish ingredients in a large resealable bag before lightly kneading and baking.
Elderberry Soup
Another fine summery soup - refreshing, light, and different! Elderberries are common in my native Germany. This soup may be served hot or cold, but is better cold as a summer treat. Serve with gingersnaps crumbled into each serving. Drizzle in heavy cream, if desired.
