  • 3 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes , or more as needed
  • 0.5 cups milk , hot
  • 0.5 cups cream cheese , softened
  • 0.5 cups chopped green onions , divided

  • 1 largeegg , lightly beaten egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 cloves garlic , or to taste, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. 1

Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with lightly salted water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and return to pot.

  2. 2

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a glass baking dish.

  3. 3
