This take on a whiskey smash cocktail uses peach nectar instead of lemon, and elevates the flavors with ginger liqueur and mint. You don't have to be a bourbon lover to enjoy this drink, but you just might become one.
Ingredients
- 4 sprigs fresh mint , divided, or as needed
- 0.75 fluids ounce peach nectar
- 1.5 fluids ounces bourbon
- 0.75 fluids ounce ginger liqueur , such as Domaine de Canton®
- ice as needed
Instructions
-
1
Muddle 5 to 8 mint leaves, depending on size, with peach nectar in a cocktail shaker until leaves are broken down, about 1 minute.
-
2
Pour in bourbon and ginger liqueur and fill the shaker with ice. Close and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with a large whiskey ice cube.
-
3
Lightly slap 2 sprigs of mint between your hands to release their scent, then garnish the drink with them.

Dad's Hamburger Gravy
This is one of my favorite 'cheap meal' recipes that I learned from my Southern cookin' Dad. Creamy hamburger gravy with just the right blend of spices is perfect served over homemade biscuits, mashed potatoes, rice, fried potatoes.. just about anything!
Ronaldo's Beef Carnitas
I use this recipe all the time. It is the best! The meat just falls apart, and it's delicious served in flour tortillas with guacamole and salsa. This also freezes well.

These are one of my favorites. I make them every holiday season. They are great for mailing and keep for weeks!
