My dad loves meat and potatoes, so these bacon-wrapped "baked" potatoes sprinkled with brown sugar and pepper really make his day!
Ingredients
- 4 bakings potatoes , scrubbed
- 1.25 teaspoons salt
- 12 slices bacon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
-
1
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high, indirect heat.
-
2
Cut each potato into 5 thick slices, without cutting all the way through. Place potatoes onto squares of aluminum foil.
-
3
Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon salt into the sliced areas of a potato, then wrap potato with 3 slices of bacon, securing with toothpicks if needed. -
4
