Serve this grilled flank steak recipe with salad and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 flank steak , 1 pound
  • 0.5 cups olive oil
  • 0.25 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1.5 teaspoons flavor enhancer , such as Ac'cent
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 0.25 teaspoons ground ginger

Instructions

  1. 1

Whisk oil, lemon juice, minced onion, garlic, flavor enhancer, salt, black pepper, sugar, dry mustard, rosemary, and ginger together in a glass jar; transfer to a resealable plastic bag. Add steak, toss to coat, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

  2. 2

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

  3. 3

Remove flank steak from marinade; shake off excess. Discard remaining marinade.

  4. 4

Cook on the preheated grill, flipping once, until firm and slightly pink in center, 5 to 8 minutes per side. Slice on a diagonal against the grain.
