This Hawaiian-style chili recipe is a very good one, and it's made with pineapple for sweetness. Since this is a large recipe, you might want to make a half-batch if it is just for a small family.

- 6 onions , chopped
- 2 reds bell peppers , seeded and chopped

- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
Instructions

Heat a large Dutch oven over high heat until hot. Add ground beef; cook until barely pink, stirring constantly to break into small pieces. Stir in onions and bell peppers; cook until meat has browned, and onions have softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes. Pour mixture into a large mesh strainer; press to release excess grease.

Return mixture to the Dutch oven. Stir in stewed tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, and pineapple chunks; season with chili powder and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low; simmer uncovered until reaches desired consistency, about 10 minutes.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa
Are you looking for a refreshing salsa recipe for a warm summer evening? This avocado, tomato, and mango salsa is our favorite. Serve with tortilla chips. It is also fantastic served on white fish. I often use canned jalapeños instead of fresh.
