This horseradish recipe uses a food processor to make this fiery condiment. It tastes fresher and is much more pungent than store-bought.
Ingredients
- 1 cup peeled and cubed horseradish root
- 0.75 cups white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 0.25 teaspoons salt
Instructions
-
1
Combine horseradish, vinegar, sugar, and salt in the bowl of a food processor or blender; pulse until blended. Carefully remove the cover of the processor or blender, keeping your face away from the container.
-
2
Cover and store horseradish in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Mulberry Spice Pie
The entire back property of my family's farm is lined with mulberry trees. We picked quarts of these deliciously messy berries last year. Be prepared for purple stained hands if you want to get in on this recipe! Serve warm with a scoop of French vanilla bean ice cream.
Mighty Granola
It took years of tinkering to come up with my own personal favorite granola recipe. Granola recipes are meant to be modified, but maybe you can start with this. Enjoy warm with milk or by itself! Does well in the freezer for several months!
