This chapati recipe is simple and delicious. Serve this Indian bread with curries or use it as a sandwich wrap. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.75 cups hot water or as needed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients.
-
2
Mix whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, and salt in a large bowl. Use a wooden spoon to stir in water and oil. Mix until a soft, elastic dough forms and add more water, if needed.
-
3
Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth.
-
4
Divide dough into 10 equal portions, or less if you want larger chapatis. Roll each piece into a ball and let rest for a few minutes.
-
5
Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium heat. Use a rolling pin to roll dough balls out on a lightly floured surface until very thin.
-
6
When the skillet starts to smoke, place a chapati in it. Cook until bottom has brown spots, about 30 seconds, then flip and cook 30 seconds more.
-
7
Repeat to cook remaining chapatis.

Slow-Smoked Pulled Pork (Boston Butt)
This simple yet effective Boston butt recipe gives the pulled pork a mildly spicy and tangy flavor. The combination of smoke and moisture from the drip pan works very well for cooking the meat evenly and leaves plenty of juices within the meat itself. I've tried several different methods with Boston butt and this one is my favorite, as well as a favorite among my friends. Give it a try and see if you like it, and please don't be shy and leave some feedback! I usually serve with barbeque sauce and baked beans (throwing the fat chunks from the pulled pork into the beans to add a little extra flavor). Check out my Sweet and Spicy Cornbread Muffins recipe for a great side. Enjoy!

Simple Roasted Chickpea Snack
These roasted chickpeas are a great snack when you're craving chips but want something healthier. They're great on their own, but also yummy on top of a salad.
