English Muffin Breakfast Strata
We had this English muffin breakfast strata at a bed and breakfast in Branson, MO (Anchor Inn on the Lake) and absolutely loved it. I don't like breakfast casseroles that are too dry or eggy, but this recipe is perfect!
Green Bean Mac and Cheese
This green bean mac and cheese is a mashup of two favorites, green bean casserole and macaroni and cheese. Topped with crunchy French-fried onions, it is everything you could hope for. The green beans add texture, gorgeous color, and just a hint of delicious bitterness to amplify all the other flavors.
Petra's Strawberry Shortcake
Petra's strawberry shortcake recipe makes a wonderfully tasty and tender shortcake. As a teenager growing up in Germany, I made Biskuitteig — a light sponge cake — nearly every week. I was never a fan of using Bisquick for shortcake and always preferred the soft, spongy texture of Biskuitteig. So, I adapted an old German recipe and created this delicious version. It's also great with other fruit toppings!
