Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 can tomato juice , 46 fluid ounce
  • 1 can tomato sauce , 29 ounce
  • 1 can kidney beans , 15 ounce
  • 1 can pinto beans , 15 ounce
  • 1.5 cups chopped onion
  • 0.25 cups chopped green bell pepper
  • 0.25 cups chili powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 0.13 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper

Instructions

    Gather all ingredients.

    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease.

    Transfer browned beef into a large pot over medium heat; stir in tomato juice, tomato sauce, kidney beans, pinto beans, onions, bell pepper, chili powder, cumin, salt, sugar, oregano, ground black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
