Jalapeno sausage crescent rolls blend the best of two worlds. Jalapeno poppers and pigs in a blanket. They aren't the traditional small size appetizers, so they're perfect for a satisfying snack. These get double jalapeno flavor with jalapeno-smoked sausage. If you want an even fancier presentation, use puff pastry.
Ingredients
- 2 packages refrigerated crescent roll dough , 8 ounce
- 1 package cream cheese , 8 ounce
- 6 jalapenos peppers , halved and seeded

Frozen Vanilla Custard
This frozen custard recipe makes a rich and creamy, French-style ice cream with eggs, heavy cream, milk, and pure vanilla extract. Although traditionally served soft in cones, I prefer to freeze it until firm, then scoop it.
