Knoephla Soup
Knoephla soup is not for those watching calories! It's a German potato soup with small dough balls that I grew up eating. It is rich, creamy, and will stick to your ribs. The women in the family have been making this soup for generations, and I've added my own twist to the base recipe.

This recipe is easy enough for anyone to make and can be customized by using your favorite barbeque sauce.
Classic Italian Veal Spezzatino
Veal spezzatino features veal chunks stewed with vegetables until tender and flavorful. This Italian dish is less soupy than stews from other cuisines. Even though there are potatoes in the recipe, it is typically served alongside polenta or mashed potatoes. Leftover stew freezes beautifully.
