Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 0.5 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons mesquite flavored liquid smoke concentrate
- 3 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 tablespoon ground paprika
- 0.25 teaspoons salt
- 1 pound beef eye of round sliced into 1/4 inch strips

Mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, liquid smoke, garlic, paprika, and salt in a shallow glass baking dish. Lay beef strips in soy sauce mixture in a single layer. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

Arrange beef strips in a dehydrator and let dry to desired doneness, about 6 hours.
