This microwave bread-and-butter pickles recipe is like a bread and butter pickle, and really super easy. You can even play with the proportions a bit; I like to increase the vinegar, salt, and spices, or you could make it sweeter. Be prepared to make this one over and over if you have any pickle lovers in the house.

Slow Cooker Frittata
This slow cooker frittata is a great breakfast or brunch. I make my own Italian seasoning, but you can use store-bought. This is a vegetarian frittata, but add sausage, if you like.
Strawberry Blender Cake
This strawberry blender cake uses a cheater method—making the batter in a blender. You'll then go on to make an extraordinary strawberry dessert, similar to strawberry shortcake, but with a cake layer that already tastes like strawberry and has the perfect texture to soak up all the delicious juices.
Roasted-Vegetable Stock
This delicious stock has a depth of flavor that comes from roasting the vegetables. Use whatever vegetables you have on hand, but avoid anything too strongly flavored, such as broccoli or cabbage, as they will overwhelm the stock.
