This quick and easy recipe for mini cinnamon rolls doesn't involve making the dough.
Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls , 8 ounce
- 0.75 cups dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
2
Make rolls: Unroll crescent roll dough onto a silicone baking mat or lightly greased work surface and separate into 4 rectangles; firmly press diagonal perforations with your fingers to smooth them out.
-
3
Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl; sprinkle evenly over rectangles.
-
4
Roll each rectangle into a log starting from the longer side; cut each log into 1/2-inch-thick slices. Arrange cinnamon rolls close to one another on the prepared baking sheet.
-
5
Bake in the preheated oven until golden, 10 to 13 minutes. Transfer cinnamon rolls to a plate and let cool for 1 minute.
-
6
While cinnamon rolls are baking, make icing: Stir together confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth.
-
7
Pour icing over warm rolls.

New York Pushcart Onions (For Hot Dogs)
I am a Canadian who spent 6 winters in Florida, and while there I met a person from New York (Brian). I did the cooking for most parties at the park, including snacks for our golf group which met twice a week after golf. Brian told me about the Push Cart Onions and I tried them with the group. They loved them. You can play with this recipe to suit your taste. Add more or less sugar, maybe a little more hot sauce, etc.
Delicious Vegan Spelt Muffins
A delicious vegan muffin that is crisp and golden on top, dense and hearty inside, and totally addictive. This recipe is a recreation of my favourite muffins from a terrific vegan cafe in Toronto. Tasty flavour additions to this basic muffin batter include: chopped sweet potato and dates, pear and walnuts, apple and cranberries, or whatever else may tickle your fancy.
