These Nutella twists are such an easy way to impress. They come together with only 3 ingredients in only 30 minutes. The crispy golden puffs are the perfect size treat. Puff pastry always feels impressive, and that chocolate hazelnut is such a decadent flavor for the holidays.
Ingredients
- 1 box puff pastry , 17. 3 ounce
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1 large egg
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
-
2
Lightly flour a work surface, and roll 1 puff pastry sheet out into a 10x10-inch square; set aside. Repeat with the second pastry sheet.
-
3
Spread chocolate hazelnut spread evenly across 1 puff pastry sheet. Carefully lay the second puff pastry sheet directly over top. Trim any uneven edges. Cut the pastry into 10 long 1-inch wide strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
-
4
Working with 1 strip at a time, twist each strip of pastry until the strip is twisted along the entire length. Starting at one end, coil strip into a round, tucking the end underneath. Gently set onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining strips.
-
5
Beat egg in a small bowl with a fork. Brush tops of twists with egg wash using a pastry brush.
-
6
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.

Instant Pot Wild Rice
This is an easy, hands-off recipe for Instant Pot wild rice. Just dump the ingredients in, set the timer, and let the pot do its thing. Feel free to use this recipe as a starting point and add your additional favorite seasonings. It is important to note that this recipe must be made with plain wild rice (not a wild rice blend or quick cooking wild rice), as it will not cook at the same amount of time otherwise.
Curly-Q Grilled Sausages
Giving a sausage a cool, coiled shape isn't just fun or frivolous; it's also fully functional. The extra surface area picks up additional delicious smoky, caramelized flavors from the grill. You could brush barbecue sauce on an un-helixed Italian sausage, but here you're literally flavoring the sausage inside and out. I served these curly-q grilled sausages on buns with homemade basil-garlic mayonnaise.
Slow Cooker Taco Soup with Ranch Dressing Mix
This taco soup recipe is a really good soup that tastes just like tacos. In fact, if you omit the tomato juice, it makes good meat for tacos. It can also be prepared in a pot instead of a slow cooker. Serve with shredded cheese and chips if desired.
