Loved these as a kid. Mom called them pinwheels. She stopped making them, lost the recipe I guess. So it took a while for me to get it right.
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups white sugar
- 0.67 cups light corn syrup
- 0.33 cups water
- 2 eggs whites
- 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar , or as needed
- 0.5 cups peanut butter , or as needed

Mix sugar, corn syrup, and water together in a deep pan; bring to a boil. Heat to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a rigid ball (hard ball stage), about 15 minutes.

Beat egg whites in a glass or metal bowl until stiff peaks form. Lift your beater or whisk straight up: the egg whites will form sharp peaks.

Slowly pour sugar mixture over egg whites while beating with an electric mixer. Beat until candy clings to a spoon and loses some of its shine. Spread candy mixture onto a sheet of waxed paper; sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Generously spread peanut butter over candy mixture. Roll candy into one large roll; cut into 2 rolls. Slice each roll into desired pieces.

Bloody Mary Burrata
I don't think there's a difference between a liquid salad and a cold vegetable soup, but if there is, let's consider this Bloody Mary Burrata the former. It turns out that when you swap out the vodka for a dollop of Burrata cheese, Bloody Marys make a great gazpacho. Garnish with sliced olives, more cherry tomatoes, celery, and horseradish. For a larger serving, pair it with a crusty hunk of bread as a brunch item.
Yummy Bok Choy Salad
This is hands down the best salad that I've ever had. It is definitely a family favourite, and I urge you to just give this one a try. You would think that raw baby bok choy would give this salad a bitter taste, but the dressing makes all the difference.

Traditional Greek New Year's Day recipe. Served as a coffee cake for breakfast. Each person in the family gets a slice starting with the youngest and progressing to the oldest. The person who receives the slice with the quarter in it will have good luck for the whole year!
