This roasted okra recipe is so simple and easy. Stewed okra is great, but we like to roast ours from time to time for a little variety. It tends to be less gummy or slimy when roasted. A good Southern gardener needs lots of okra recipes. In season, I find myself bringing in okra by the armload nearly every other day!

Pumpkin Cheesecake II
This is a very old recipe and it seems like there are a lot of ingredients, but it is worth the effort. I use the extra whipping cream to decorate the top of the cheesecake.
Seven Layer Tex Mex Dip
This is a great, easy recipe people love. Our family has made it for gatherings for as long as I can remember. Refried beans are layered with guacamole, a seasoned sour cream mixture, cheese and vegetables. Serve it with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
Easy Zucchini Bars
Light and moist, these flavorful and easy zucchini bars have been a favorite fall treat in my family for ages. If I am taking them to a party, I will add a little cream cheese frosting, but I rarely have time to frost them at home before my family devours them!
