This shrimp fettuccine Alfredo recipe is very simple and tastes divine. My sister and I tried to come up with the perfect Alfredo recipe, and this is it!
Ingredients
- 1 pound fettuccini pasta
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pound cooked shrimp - peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 cup half-and-half or heavy cream
- 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- salt to taste
Instructions
-
1
Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Cook fettuccine at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain.
-
2
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir shrimp and garlic in butter for 1 minute. Pour in half-and-half; stir. Add Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly. Mix in parsley; season with salt. Simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce is thickened.
-

Peanut Butter Cookie in a Mug
This recipe came from a very special person - my grandma. She would say that she found the recipe inside her shoe. For a better taste put more butter on top of the cookie before putting in it in the microwave.
Vegetarian Phad Thai
This recipe is the closest I've come to imitating the heavenly Phad Thai I had in London. It's a little sweeter than the Phad Thai dishes I've tried in the U.S. Raw cabbage and/or carrots may also be served on the side.
