- 0.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2.5 pounds moose meat , cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil , or as needed
- 4 cups beef stock
- 4 carrots , cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 stalks celery , cut into 1-inch pieces
- 3 large potatoes , peeled and cubed
- 1 large onion , chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes with juice , 14 ounce
- 2 bays leaves
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1.5 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Place flour in a shallow bowl. Dredge meat in flour to coat; shake off excess.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium. Add meat; cook and stir until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a large slow cooker; add beef stock, carrots, celery, potatoes, onion, diced tomatoes with juice, bay leaves, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and garlic. Gently stir mixture.
