A good friend gave me this slow cooker cherry and pineapple delight recipe and I converted it for the slow cooker. It's a great dessert for a Sunday afternoon. Serve it with ice cream on top.
Ingredients
- 1 can cherry pie filling , 21 ounce
- 1 can crushed pineapple , 20 ounce
- 1 package yellow cake mix , 15.25 ounce
- 0.5 cups salted butter , melted
- 0.5 cups chopped walnuts

Place cherry pie filling in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place crushed pineapple on top.

Combine cake mix and butter in a bowl; spread evenly over cherry and pineapple. Sprinkle with walnuts.

Cover slow cooker. Cook on High for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or on Low for 3 to 4 hours. Serve warm.
