I grew up eating a similar tuna salad, I have since adjusted it to be a little healthier than before. The apples make it fresh and delicious! Serve on bread of your choice with lettuce. Yum!
Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna , 5 ounce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise , or more if needed
- 1 small apple - peeled , cored, and chopped
- 0.25 small onion , minced
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 0.5 teaspoons dill weed
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
-
1
Stir the tuna, olive oil, mayonnaise, apple, onion, relish, and dill together in a bowl until evenly mixed. Season with salt and pepper. You can serve immediately, though is tastes much better after being refrigerated overnight.

Roasted and Curried Butternut Squash Soup
This is my original recipe and can be either vegetarian or meat based. It also freezes well - just thaw, heat and add cream or yoghurt before serving. It's delicious and well worth the extra steps of roasting and pureeing. Enjoy!
Turkish Doner Kebab
This doner kebab is so tasty โ I'm sure once you try it, you'll want to make it again and again! Serve with lightly toasted pita or flatbread, chili sauce, and a salad of shredded cabbage, carrot, onion, and sliced cucumber. It's easy to make in advance, slice and freeze for whenever you get that craving!
Bloody Mary Mix
My sister got this recipe from a restaurant in Ohio and all our family loves it. This is very spicy and needs time to blend flavors.
