This recipe is for a spicy and tangy chaat-spiced corn side dish for African pilli pilli chicken.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh corn kernels
  • salt as needed
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice , or more to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoons garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoons chaat masala
  • 0.25 teaspoons chili powder

Instructions

    Fill a deep saucepan with water; bring to a boil. Add corn and salt; cook until corn is tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain.
