Tangy and sweet old-fashioned baked beans with a little spicy jalapeño. They're easy to make and great at a barbecue, hamburger night, a picnic, etc. My husband's favorite semi-homemade recipe. Chipotle Chicken Burgers
These juicy, smoky and spicy chipotle chicken burgers are topped off with pepper Jack cheese, refreshing pico de gallo, and creamy chipotle mayo. Only use 1 or 2 chipotle peppers if you like things a little milder. Use fresh store-made pico de gallo to save time.
Kentucky Pecan Pie
This pecan pie is a family favorite. I get many requests to make this for our church bake sales.
Flavorful Persian Braised Lamb Shanks
This Persian lamb shank is tender, juicy, and so flavorful. It is an authentic Persian recipe passed down from my father who was born in Tehran, Iran. It does take a lot of time to prepare but it's worth it. Serve with seasoned lentils, white rice, dill rice, or rice with lima beans. This is a dish to impress, perfect for the holidays!
