This is the best garlic bread I have ever tasted. Adjust the ingredients as necessary until the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder mixture is a paste-like consistency.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 0.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 loaf Italian bread , 1 pound
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven's broiler.
-
2
Mix together mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder in a medium bowl until thick and well combined.
-
3
Slice loaf in half lengthwise and spread the cut-side of each piece with mayonnaise mixture. Place halves on a medium baking sheet.
-
4
Cook under the preheated broiler until mayonnaise mixture is bubbling and golden brown, 2 to 5 minutes; check frequently to avoid burning.
