These little pecan tarts are so easy to make and delicious. They melt in your mouth! My brother requests these every year for the holidays.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 6 ounces cream cheese , softened
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease two mini tart pans.
-
2
To make the pastry: Combine butter and cream cheese in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add flour and mix to form a smooth dough.
-
3
Divide dough into 48 balls; place one ball in each greased cup of tart pans. Use your fingers or a tart tamper to press out into a tart shell.
-
4
To make the filling: Break eggs into a large bowl. Add brown sugar, pecans, melted butter, vanilla, and salt; mix until well combined. Spoon filling into prepared tart shells, filling each 3/4 full.
-
5
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Transfer tarts to a wire rack to cool completely.

Grilled Chicken Burgers
Try these grilled chicken burgers for a nice break from typical beef hamburgers. They're fairly simple to make, full of flavor, and quite delicious. I serve them on chive biscuits with tomato chutney. Eat to your heart's content!
Bat Wings
I take bat wings to Halloween parties, angel wings to Christmas parties, and so on. They are just fab and easy with only 3 ingredients. My boyfriend loves to tweak this recipe. However, I just love this simple basic recipe and I hope you do, too. It's better if you can marinate this overnight. I put it in gallon sealable bag and keep in refrigerator then pour in pan the next day.
Pecan Sour Cream Coffee Cake
For me, the best part about any coffee cake recipe is the crispy, crunchy, buttery crumb topping. In this recipe, I significantly increased the amount of crumb topping and hid a layer inside the cake!
