This vermicelli soup is called "fideo" or "sopa seca" (dry soup) and is eaten all over Mexico. It is inexpensive and easy to make. This can be comforting when sick, but it is also a great side dish with any kind of meat, poultry, or fish. To make it soupier you can add vegetable broth to taste.

Parmesan Chicken Legs
This recipe for Parmesan chicken leg drumsticks is my favorite. Serve with a nice fresh salad and a vegetable side dish.
Turkey Bow-Tie Casserole
A super easy, yummy, kid-friendly pasta casserole. My little sister and I were making lunch when we made up this casserole. She doesn't like hamburger, but she is a huge pasta and turkey fan. It goes together really quickly if one person makes the turkey part and another person makes the noodle part. Refrigerate leftovers.
Million Dollar Stuffed Shells
These million dollar stuffed shells are pure comfort food. Shell pasta is stuffed with a creamy cheese filling and baked in a tasty tomato sauce with plenty of sausage.
