Butterbeer IV
This warm drink will keep you warm and fuzzy throughout winter, or any season. Inspired by the Harry Potter books' recipe; try it, and you'll start smiling in no time.
Bat-Tito Bite
Celebrate Halloween with this spooky punch perfect for any gathering. Just don't forget the garnish, it's bloody delicious.
Bath Water Punch
A fruity Halloween punch that will make your guests cringe! Feel free to use a variety of food coloring to achieve the desired color of punch.n Decorate with desired plastic flies, eye balls, or plastic fingers! For the adults: throw in some vanilla vodka! Yummy!
Berry Bloody Smoothie
A great Halloween party idea. Just frozen fruit and some juice to give it that great dark red color.
Green Punch
This is a green colored punch made with lime jello and fruit juice that tastes wonderful. Great for Saint Patrick's Day or whenever you feel like drinking something green!
Melted Witch
It is green and spooky. You use green sports drink and lemon-lime soda to make it and then you serve it with ice cubes.
Pumpkin Seed Spread
My version of pumpkin seed spread straddles the fence between sweet and savory, and is very adaptable. It was inspired by a similar (but savory) spread that Cortney Burns and Nick Balla serve at their San Francisco restaurant, Duna.
Brain Hemorrhage (Halloween Alcohol Drink)
Brain hemorrhage shots are fun to serve at Halloween parties. They look so disgusting and creepy, you may have a hard time getting your guests to try one!
Mexican Chicken Meatball Soup (Sopa de Albóndigas de Pollo)
This albóndigas de pollo is a delicious soup recipe. Ground chicken meatballs are simmered in chicken broth with zucchini and chayote. I like to serve it with fresh spinach, chopped avocado, lemon juice, and chipotle chile peppers.
No-Salt Vinaigrette
This low-sodium salad dressing is easy to make with staples from your pantry and doesn't use salt. I get raves when I bring tossed salads to dinner parties because I make this dressing. Bulk up on the lemon juice for extra zing. You can also substitute tarragon vinegar for a different feel. Serve over a tossed salad and antipasto, or use it as a quick marinade for beef, chicken, or pork.
Copycat Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette
I am a big fan of Chick-fil-A's® grilled market salad and their signature zesty apple cider vinaigrette! So, I developed a recipe to fill that craving. This dressing is simply amazing… the zing of the apple cider vinegar, hint of sweet pineapple and tangy lime juice, and warm heat of the freshly cracked black pepper is a sure winner!
Homemade Red Wine Vinaigrette
This tangy red wine vinaigrette is made in minutes with easy ingredients you probably already have at home! It's full of flavor and delicious on crisp green salads. Add fresh herbs, like oregano, instead of spices, if you prefer.
