Easter Leg of Lamb
We eat leg of lamb every Easter dinner โ it is a family favorite. I normally cook half a leg. If you cook a whole leg of lamb, double the recipe. You need to start this recipe at least 24 hours before cooking. It needs to marinate at least overnight.
Red Wine-Braised Lamb Shanks
Succulent braised lamb shanks slow cooked in a red wine, tomato, and fresh basil sauce. Serve with mushroom risotto and grilled zucchini.
Holiday Leg of Lamb
This leg of lamb is succulent and aromatic, a favorite of my family at Christmas time.
Stuffed Leg of Lamb with Balsamic-Fig-Basil Sauce
Dried plums and currants tossed with salted, roasted almonds, creme de cassis, and mint is the stuffing for my rolled lamb roast. It's a very easy way to dress up a lamb roast during the holidays. The simple herb rub adds just the right amount of seasoning along with fresh garlic inserted into the top of the roast. My balsamic basil fig sauce creation drizzled over the sliced lamb is the perfect finish touch and extremely flavorful thanks to the fresh basil.
Leg of Lamb with Raspberry Sauce
This is an very simple recipe if you want to do something a bit different and unusual with a boneless leg of lamb. A boneless leg of lamb is marinated, then roasted and served with a tangy raspberry sauce.
Bacon-Wrapped Leg of Lamb with Red Wine Reduction
This bacon-wrapped lamb has been a family favorite for over two decades! Growing up, Mom would always make this for dinner on Easter Sunday or New Year's Day. The bacon adds a wonderful smoky flavor to the outside of the lamb, and the garlic permeates the meat throughout. All topped off with a delectable red wine reduction and delicious served with mashed potatoes!
Greek Easter Roast Lamb and Orzo
Cumulative recipe from a couple family members. My favorite part of Easter.
Sheet Pan Easter Dinner
A full Easter dinner with just 7 main ingredients and a couple of pantry staples! This sheet pan dinner tastes like all the freshness of spring with the elegance of Christmas.
Garlic and Herb Lamb
A quick and easy rosemary rub that truly draws out the succulent flavor of lamb. Works on chops or leg of lamb.
Greek Roast Lamb and Potatoes
There's nothing like Greek roast lamb and potatoes. In Greece, meat (lamb, beef, chicken) and potatoes in the oven is an ubiquitous dish throughout the winter. Upon my most recent visit to Athens, my aunt let me in on a secret that takes this traditional roast lamb to another level. Instead of the usual lemon juice, she said, add the juice of one orange. I tried this upon my return home and it is absolutely delicious! It may be awhile before I go back to lemons -- and this dish is as delicious as it is simple.
Slow Roast Leg of Lamb
If you're slow-roasting lamb, it comes out so tender you don't need a knife to cut it. And when I say slow, I mean slow - 7 hours. And I am roasting the leg of lamb in the oven, not in a slow cooker. Tastes great served with Dauphinoise potatoes or mashed potatoes and vegetables.
Glazed Baked Ham
This is an easy way to prepare a ham for the holidays.
