Sweet Potato Noodle Pudding (Kugel)
In Jewish tradition, this dish is called Kugel, a beloved staple often served at holiday meals. This contemporary sweet potato version is easy, delicious, and perfect for any occasion! Serve warm or, even better, at room temperature.
Lynn's Easy Noodle Pudding
Lynn's easy noodle pudding is super easy to make. It's a great dish to bring along for a potluck and can be served warm, cold, or reheated. The recipe was my late Mom's, which she brought to everyone's home. She was always begged by family and friends to please make it. It was, and still is, a staple at the holiday table for us.
Sweet Kugel
Kugel, a traditional Jewish noodle custard dish, is a mainstay of Jewish holiday meals. Defined as a baked pudding or casserole (usually from noodles or potatoes) this one is my own version of kugel, which is adapted from a few recipes to make one that we really love. This is a rich and sweet kugel although they also come in a savory version.
Pareve Corn Kugel
This slightly sweet side dish contains no dairy, and is a perfect accompaniment for all your main dishes! Cranberries add an unusual and delicious flavor.
Noodle Kugel (Dairy)
This kugel is a slightly sweet noodle pudding. It can be served as a side dish, at brunch, or after a fast, such as Yom Kippur.
Grandma's Noodle Pudding (Kugel)
My grandma gave me her kugel recipe for this family favorite. We always ate this noodle pudding at Hanukkah dinner, but I could really eat it for any meal, anytime!
Apricot Noodle Kugel
This is an old family recipe for apricot noodle kugel that I entered in the 2001 Ventura County Fair and won 'Honorable Mention' in the pudding division. There was no kugel category, but the judges loved it and still wanted to honor me with a ribbon. Hope you enjoy it as well.
Spinach Kugel
This spinach kugel is moist, delicious, and very easy to make! My grandmother always made this wonderful kugel at every family dinner.
Sweet Noodle Kugel
This kugel recipe is the same style of kugel we'd get in a New York City area Jewish deli, and that my relatives would make for holidays. There seems to be endless variations of this noodle pudding now, but for me this is the authentic original version.
Cinnamon Noodle Kugel
This noodle kugel recipe makes a velvety custard with eggs, cottage cheese, and sour cream. A cinnamon and brown sugar topping helps brown the noodles. With the perfect combination of crunchy and sweet, you will never want to use another kugel recipe again.
Lithuanian Kugela
Ah, Kugela! The national dish of Lithuania! What celebration would be complete without it? Remember, Kugela is an art, not just a recipe. Experiment with ingredients and techniques to make your own Kugela statement. Serve with a dollop of sour cream, if you like.
Natalie Powell's Knishes
My grandmother is of eastern European Jewish descent so this is a very authentic recipe!
