Pork Chops with Oniony Mashed Potatoes and Cider Gravy
I usually just use my pressure cooker for making beans but have been experimenting with bone-in meats and enjoying the results! Caramelized onions really boost the flavor in the mashed potatoes, and you can't go wrong with a gravy that has apple cider and Dijon mustard!
Apple Cider and Spice Pork Chops
This recipe was an accident. I was experimenting with flavors and wasn't expecting much out of it, but the apple cider addition yielded some of the best pork I've ever tasted (and the boyfriend agreed).
Cast Iron Skillet Sweet and Sour Pork Chops
An ever-so-easy way to add a little zip to pork chops cooked in a cast iron skillet. Serve over buttered rice for a quick and easy dinner.
Mike's Magic
This is my own recipe that I have done many times and everyone that has tried it seems to love the many flavors that it delivers. Pork is thinly sliced and stir-fried with bell peppers, celery, and Brussels sprouts. As you are using all fresh herbs there is no need to season with salt or pepper as this will take from the natural flavors.
Moo Shu Pork for Two
Though I made this moo shu pork recipe for 2 as a delicious way to use leftover hoisin sauce, it can easily be adapted for larger groups and makes a fun party food.
Pork Tenderloin Diablo
This pork tenderloin diablo is a great pork recipe. Mustard is a classic with pork, but when you add the extra zing of horseradish and cayenne, and then smooth it out with a little cream and butter, well, it's devilishly delicious.
Bucatini All'Amatriciana
This pasta dish is my signature dish. I really enjoy making this pasta, especially with the right ingredients like guanciale. Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Sausage-Stuffed Eggplant
A local winery/restaurant serves a sausage-stuffed eggplant appetizer that is so delicious. While trying to duplicate it at home, I found this to be one of our favorite eggplant dinners. Be sure to select an eggplant that is smooth, blemish-free and kind of heavy for it's size. Serve with a green salad.
Grilled Mongolian Pork Chops
These marinated Mongolian pork chops can be cooked any way you like, but for the true experience, you will want to cook these on a charcoal grill. For me, it's the smokiness that brings all these flavors together.
Folded Pork Cutlets
This stuffed pork cutlet recipe has an unusual look and feel. I thought I'd seen all there was to see when it came to pan-fried pork cutlets, but then I saw something called "Katsu Mille-Feuille," and I realized I hadn't seen anything yet. Okay, I'm being a little dramatic, but I really loved the internal flavoring opportunities the multi-layer technique provides. I look forward to seeing what you come up with! Served here with a salad and a squeeze of lemon on top.
Chef John's Caramel Pork Belly
I wasn't really sure I understood the true essence of unctuousness, but after eating this caramel pork belly, I'm pretty sure I get it now โ each bite was pure pleasure! I'm usually a very fast eater, but I tried to eat it as slowly as I possibly could.
Pork, Apple, and Ginger Stir-Fry with Hoisin Sauce
This simple stir-fry has a sweet taste that appeals to teenagers. While broccoli is specified here, it's easy to add whatever vegetables you have available to it. Serve this over rice for a filling meal.
