Spooky Calzone Snake
I wanted to make some sort of spooky bread for Halloween and came up with the idea of baking a calzone in the shape of a snake. I combined egg yolks with food coloring (and made several colors) and painted it to make a colorful striped snake. It was a hit with the kids!

Different from traditional carrot cake, this cake is extremely moist and flavorful and is topped with a buttermilk glaze while still warm. Try it and I think you will agree that it is the best!! Be certain to reduce the baking temperature to 325 degrees F(165 degrees C) if using a glass baking dish.
