The Best Chicken Fried Steak
This chicken fried steak recipe is one I received from a co-worker about 5 years ago. A Southern favorite, these crispy, breaded, tenderized cube steaks drenched in creamy gravy can be served for breakfast or dinner. It's by far the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. I've made this numerous times for my picky son and my Southern-raised better half, as well as for other family and friends and each time, I get nothing but rave reviews.
Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
This slow cooker pepper steak always comes out tender and flavorful and is one of our family's favorites. It's great to make ahead of time and serve over rice, egg noodles, or chow mein.
Beef and Noodles
The best beef and noodles you'll ever have! Affordable, quick, and yummy. I have to give credit to my grandma. She used to cook this for her 5 kids and then later for all her grandkids.
Beef Miso Ramen
This flavorful bowl of miso ramen is full of delicious flavors that will make your palate sing! If you've been dreaming of Japanese cuisine, this is the perfect meal for you. Add a hard-boiled egg, mushrooms, spicy chili oil, or toppings of your choice.
Unstuffed Shells Pasta Bake
"This is an Italian classic made so easy!"
Bobotie (South African Beef Casserole)
If you enjoy curried anything, you're going to love bobotie. The aromatic meat filling, combined with the very thin, bay leaf-infused custard on top, makes this an easy, gorgeous, and extremely delicious one-pan meal.
Giant Lazy Meatballs
These giant lazy meatballs are truly beautiful. Forget that we used just about the laziest method ever to make them, with no slicing and dicing, the taste and the texture are that of a properly made, high-quality meatball.
Cheese Puff Sliders
For these cheese puff sliders, Chef John shows you first how to make incredible French cheese puff 'buns,' which you then use to make the most delicious, most interesting fun-size cheeseburgers you've ever had. They're dressed with secret sauce (a secret no more), lettuce, tomato, and pickle. The cheese is already in the bun.
Korean Sushi
This is a Korean-inspired version of sushi that uses minced beef and canned tuna instead of raw fish. It's mouthwateringly delicious, but may take some practice.
Chicken Fried Steak with Cream Pork Sausage Gravy
My grandmother use to make this for my grandfather. She passed the recipe down to my mom who use to make this for our family, but especially for my father who absolutely LOVED this! I now make this for my husband! I serve this with buttered corn and smashed garlic potatoes!
Boeuf en Croûte (Beef in Puff Pastry)
This boeuf en croûte (beef in puff pastry) recipe is an easy, do-ahead, spectacular, and delicious way to serve beef filet. It can easily be adapted to serve however many you need. It's a nice change to the standard — without the usual pâté de foie gras. This recipe is a big hit with both my family and my guests. Choose flavorful mushrooms like cremini, portobello, or even porcini or morels. Choose a rich wine, something you would actually drink, such as a good Shiraz or Pinotage. The beef is perfect served with asparagus.
Chicken Fried Steak
Breaded and deep-fried beef cutlets are known as chicken fried steak because of the similarity in cooking method to fried chicken. This is a family recipe that we have used for years. Vegetable oil may be used in place of shortening for frying.
