Deb's General Tso's Chicken
This General Tso's chicken uses cornstarch batter for a crisp, golden brown coating. Frying the chicken twice makes it extra crispy. A spicy, sweet soy sauce mixture with ginger and garlic adds incredible flavor. Don't scrimp or replace the ingredients โ you might be disappointed. You can make the sauce and complete the first chicken fry up to 3 days ahead, then complete the second fry before serving. Serve with rice or noodles tossed with steamed vegetables, such as broccoli, zucchini, squash, and green onions.
Mongolian Beef I

Beefy Chinese Dumplings
This is a delicious veggie and beef dumpling recipe that my mom has been making ever since I can remember. It may take some time and practice when it comes to making these, but it's well worth it. Just boil them in water and serve hot with soy sauce, or add them to a soup.
Mongolian Beef II
Savory strips of sirloin roast are soaked in a spicy marinade and sauteed with green onions. Serve over steamed rice or fried rice noodles.
Fun Karnal (Beef and Broccoli)
Instead of ordering out Chinese food, do it yourself. Great with white rice or sticky rice (jasmine rice). Family recipe! Substitute beef with 1/2-inch pieces chicken breast prepared the same as the beef above or 2 cups cooked shrimp prepared as above.
Spicy Beef Filet in Oyster Sauce
My good friend Lin gave me a recipe for beef in oyster sauce, I misread the amount of black pepper called for in her recipe, and the result was fantastic! I especially like the recipe because no soy sauce is used. My husband likes to eat them with the leftover sliced uncooked onion to bring out the sweetness of the oyster sauce.
Sheet Pan Orange Chicken and Broccoli
Try this sheet pan orange chicken and broccoli for a mid-week dinner option. It has a fresh orange flavor and is nice and saucy, so best served with rice.

This chicken or pork and vegetable stir-fry recipe is based on some very tasty dishes that my Asian friends at work brought in to some office potlucks. I want to thank Cindy Ly for taking the time to write down the ingredients for me.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Stir-Fry
This sweet and sour chicken stir-fry recipe is a version of the Asian-style favorite that includes carrots, bell pepper, garlic, and pineapple. The requisite soy sauce and vinegar add the sour to the sweet!
Pork Stir Fry
This quick pork stir fry recipe uses thinly sliced pork tenderloin stir-fried in sesame oil with lots of fresh veggies, garlic, and ginger. The stir fry sauce is made with soy sauce and rice wine vinegar. Delicious!
