Kneecaps
Kneecap doughnuts are small, sweet fried doughnuts with an indent in the center rather than a hole. They're covered with confectioners' sugar and filled with whipped cream. For a decorative touch, add a few sprinkles or sugars to this recipe.
Pumpkin Sufganiot with Cranberry Jelly
I wanted to combine Thanksgiving flavors for a Hanukkah doughnut. This dough is very forgiving, and will last in the fridge, well-wrapped, for 3 days. That makes it easy to break up the recipe into batches and fry the doughnuts when it's convenient for you. This makes a great holiday breakfast or dessert! Makes about two and a half dozen, depending on your cutters.
Kelly's Butterscotch Pudding
This is a wonderful butterscotch pudding that I have been making for years. Our family loves it best when it's hot. This recipe can also be used as a pie filling.
Chocolate Halloween Cookies
Yummy chocolate frosted cookies with Reese's® Pieces. Perfect for Halloween.
Halloween Mummy Cookies
These coated chocolate cookies are frightfully delicious! They have been a long-time favorite in our house during the Halloween season. I found this years ago published in the local newspaper. I still have the clipping, but cannot give credit to its creator/author, as none was printed in the article. Great family-time baking project; the kids love to help form the chilled dough into the mummy shapes, with clean hands, of course! Great for Halloween, but we also use this dough for Xmas candy cane and wreath-shaped cookies, too. Have fun!
Halloween Sugar Cookies
Tender sugar cookies couldn't be easier. Just roll into balls and flatten. Customize them for any event by sprinkling with appropriately colored decorator sugar or sprinkles. Or frost and decorate.
Old-Fashioned Apple Dumplings
These are the apple dumplings my grandmother used to make: warm, flaky, apple-y sweet, and drizzled with a sauce baked right with them. They aren't difficult to make, just a little time-consuming.
Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies with Spiders
This is a Halloween chocolate chip cookie with spiders recipe. I love chocolate chip cookies, so when I was baking for Halloween, I turned the chocolate chips into little spiders. I only drew 3 legs on each side; there wasn't room for 4, so my spiders were little 6-legged creatures.
Root Beer Float Cookies
This cookie recipe is perfect for root beer float lovers — they're soft and chewy.
Halloween Skeleton Cookies
I bake these creepy skeleton cookies every year for Halloween, but they work also for Day of the Dead. You can use any cut-out-cookie recipe as the base. I usually cut out 2 different-shaped figures using my gingerbread men cookie cutters.
Caramel Apple Cookies
These tasty apple cookies with a caramel topping look like mini caramel apples! They're fun to make and share at Halloween or fall get-togethers!
Peanut Butter Crunch Cookies
We didn't have any chocolate chips in the house, but we did have a bag of Nestle® Crunch candy bars meant for Halloween! Add that to an existing peanut butter oatmeal recipe, with a few modifications, and peanut butter crunch cookies are born!
