My mom's 7-layer dip is a big hit at all small gatherings! Refried beans are layered with guacamole, taco-seasoned sour cream, veggies, and cheese — it's perfect for dipping tortilla chips. The dip traditionally takes less time to disappear into bellies than it does to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 2 avocadoss - peeled , pitted and diced
  • 0.25 cups chopped fresh cilantro
  • 0.25 cups salsa
  • 1.5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 0.25 teaspoons garlic salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 container sour cream , 8 ounce
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix , 1 ounce
  • 1 can refried beans , 16 ounce
  • 4 romas (plum) tomatoes , diced
  • 1 bunch green onions , finely chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
  • 1 can black olives - drained and finely chopped , 2.25 ounce
