These air fryer chicken wings are coated with a fiery homemade Buffalo sauce for a crowd-pleasing game day snack without the mess! There is no need to deep fry in all of that oil when you can achieve crispy wings straight out of the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2.5 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 0.67 cups cayenne pepper sauce
- 0.5 cups butter
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoons cayenne pepper
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients. Preheat an air fryer to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C).
-
2
Place wings in a large bowl; drizzle oil over wings and massage until chicken is evenly coated.
-
3
Arrange 1/2 of the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
-
4
Cook in the preheated air fryer for 25 minutes. Use tongs to flip wings and cook until golden brown and crisp on the outside, 5 minutes more. Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl; cover to keep warm. Repeat with remaining wings.
-
5
While the second batch is cooking, combine hot pepper sauce, butter, vinegar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir and keep warm until wings are cooked.
-
6
Pour sauce over cooked wings and toss to coat.

Sourdough Discard Waffles
I often feel like the discard from my sourdough starter is wasteful, so I try my best to use it in other ways. One of the best and tastiest ways is to repurpose the discard into waffles. You can make the batter base of this recipe the night before you plan to cook waffles, or just a few hours prior. This is a fantastic weekend breakfast when everyone gets to sleep in!
