Lemony Marshmallow Glaze
Tried this when I didn't have any confectioners' sugar. I poured this over an angel food cake and had a few tablespoons left over. My husband almost ate the entire cake and spooned the leftover glaze onto his slices. Would also recommend this for pound cake, sponge cake, and cookies.
Ham Cake-ettes
These ham cakes are a great way to turn leftover Easter ham into a perfect combo of pancakes and croquettes. Serve with a honey mustard sauce or any variety of chutneys. Applesauce is also a nice accompaniment.
Slow Cooker Corned Beef-Style Brisket
Making a marinated corned beef brisket from scratch means you control the ingredients — no chemicals means better eating. I cook mine with carrots and cabbage.
