Ingredients
- 5 quartss plain popped popcorn
- 0.75 cups light corn syrup
- 0.25 cups butter
- 2 teaspoons cold water
- 2.63 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup marshmallows
- nonstick cooking spray

Gather all ingredients. Place popped popcorn into a very large heatproof bowl.

Combine corn syrup, butter, water, confectioners' sugar, and marshmallows in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat and stir until marshmallows have melted and the mixture comes to a boil.

Carefully pour hot marshmallow mixture over popcorn. Stir with a buttered spatula until popcorn is evenly coated.

Coat hands with nonstick cooking spray and quickly shape coated popcorn into balls before mixture cools and hardens.

Wrap cooled popcorn balls in plastic wrap or cellophane and store at room temperature for up to 1 week.
