This is my favorite turkey meatloaf recipe that always comes out moist, tender, and full of flavor. It's topped with a delicious ketchup glaze.
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds ground turkey
- 0.75 cups crushed buttery round crackers
- 0.5 cups milk
- 1 small onion , chopped
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic , minced
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 0.25 teaspoons ground black pepper
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients.
-
2
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a rimmed baking sheet.
-
3
Mix ground turkey, crushed crackers, milk, onion, egg, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Shape mixture into a loaf and place on the prepared pan.
-
4
To make the glaze: Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
-
5
Bake meatloaf in preheated oven for 30 minutes; remove from the oven and drain off liquids. Top meatloaf with prepared ketchup glaze.
-
6
Return loaf to the oven and continue baking until no longer pink in the center, about 30 minutes more; an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (71 degrees C).

Michigan Hot Dog
This regional specialty has a unique sauce which is typically slightly chunkier and thicker than most hot dog sauces. You'll often find this served on top-split buns, but regular hot dog buns will work. There are many versions of this sauce, but this is the way we like ours.
Oxtails with Gravy
This oxtail recipe was my mom's, and it's a soul food blast from the past. I adjust spices to my taste (I love lots of spices). You can double the gravy if you like. My family loves this dish served with rice.
Pozole in a Slow Cooker
Easy, authentic Mexican Pozole. You will be glad you took the time. You can make ahead of time and freeze the pork to keep until you're ready to make dinner. Serve with chopped white onion, cilantro, shredded cabbage, lime wedges, and corn tortillas or tostadas.
