Cheese grits ... easy, cheesy, rich, and delicious!
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup uncooked quick-cooking grits
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ground black pepper to taste

Gather the ingredients.

Bring water and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Whisk in grits, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook until thickened, 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat.

Stir in Cheddar, Parmesan, and butter until combined and cheese has melted.

Season with pepper; serve immediately.
