These chopped cheese sliders are a slider version of the much-loved New York sandwich with ground beef, American cheese, shredded lettuce, and a special sauce on Hawaiian rolls.
Ingredients
- 0.25 cups mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 0.5 teaspoons garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoons smoked paprika
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients.
-
2
Stir mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and paprika together in a small bowl; season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
-
3
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 8 minutes. Drain excess fat, if desired.
-
4
Lower heat to avoid overcooking beef, and lay cheese slices directly over beef. Allow to melt, about 3 minutes more, then chop beef and cheese together to create that signature chopped cheese texture.
-
5
Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached. Spread chopped cheese sauce on both halves of rolls. Evenly distribute beef and cheese mixture over bottom half.
-
6
Top with chopped lettuce, onion, and pickles. Place top buns back on and enjoy!

Italian Baked Meatballs
This recipe makes baked meatballs that are tender and tasty. I also freeze these meatballs and take out how many servings I need for each meal.
Frijoles
I searched all of the recipes for frijoles, and none are close to real Mexican beans. The canned ones are only a pale imitation of the real beans simmering all day on the stove. They're easy to make and inexpensive too. Don't soak and drain the beans overnight as per American or European bean recipes. Cook them in their own liquid.
Easy Canned Venison
Make quick and easy meals by canning venison and keeping it on hand to use in soups, stews, and sandwiches. Or, heat some up and serve it with rice, potatoes, noodles, or vegetables. Just scale the recipe based on how much venison you have to can.
