These chopped chili garlic green beans are seasoned with chili crisp, garlic, and lime— the perfect side dish for any meat or fish.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 bags fresh green beans , 1-pound
  • 1 cup green onions
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili crisp
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add green beans and green onions. Cook, stirring often, until green beans begin to turn bright green and slightly char, about 5 minutes. Season with lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, sugar, and salt and continue cooking until sauce starts to thicken, about 2 minutes; remove from heat.

  2. 2

Add chili crisp, lime zest, and sesame seeds to green beans and toss well before serving. Serve immediately or chill before serving.
