As a kid I grew up eating fresas con crema. My mother always made a big batch for every special occasion. This recipe is a small batch, enough for three-four servings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 0.5 cups sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon Mexican vanilla extract
- 2 cups diced fresh strawberries
Instructions
-
1
Combine sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Gently fold in diced strawberries.
-
2
Divide strawberry mixture into 2 serving dishes. Refrigerate for 1 hour for flavors to meld.

This maple buttercream frosting is very sweet. It reminds me of maple candy.
Crema di Limoncello (Cream of Limoncello)
What is crema di limoncello? Cream of limoncello is the perfect answer to the question "what do you do when life gives you lemons?" You make limoncello! And this creamy, lemony version is the perfect end to a delicious meal. I've always brought some back from our trips to Italy, but now I make my own at home.
