We enjoyed banana margaritas while vacationing in Mazatlán, Mexico, and have been trying to duplicate them ever since. This recipe brings back great memories. Serve in salt or sugar-rimmed margarita glasses.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas
  • 0.75 cups banana liqueur
  • 0.5 cups tequila
  • 0.25 cups triple sec , orange-flavored liqueur
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 6 ices cubes , or as needed

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine bananas, banana liqueur, tequila, triple sec, lemon juice, and lime juice in the container of a blender. Add ice cubes until the mixture reaches the 6-cup line. Cover and blend until smooth.

  2. 2

Pour into margarita glasses to serve.
