These marshmallow cereal bars are easy, easy, easy. You can add candy-coated chocolates, chocolate chips, or nuts as a variation.
Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- 4 cups crisp rice cereal

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.

Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir in vanilla. Add marshmallows; cook and stir until marshmallows are melted. Add cereal; stir to coat, then quickly transfer mixture to the prepared dish. Use a sheet of waxed paper to press mixture evenly into the dish.

Let set for 2 to 3 hours before cutting into 24 squares.
