My whole family loves this delicious mushroom sauce. We've eaten it over chicken cutlets, pork chops, and beef roast, almost anything needing a sauce. It's also quick and easy!

Add 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons flour; cook until incorporated, about 1 minute. Add beef broth; cook, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes. Stir in half-and-half, black pepper, and salt. Cook for 30 seconds more.

Cobb Salad with Ham
This ham cobb salad is a complete meal and perfect for those hot days when you really don't want to spend too much time in the kitchen. I used deli ham, but leftover baked ham is delicious in this salad.
Peach Sangria
I love this homemade peach sangria recipe that my Grandfather taught me to make when I was a young wife. He learned to make when he was working in Mexico in his younger days. It's easy, but it takes time to cure between steps. We've had mango sangria, peach-mango sangria, or pear-pineapple sangria. You can garnish with blueberries, mint leaves, or fresh peach slices if you like.
Pasta Salad a la Honeybear
This is my take on several different pasta salads I have tried. It's my daughter's favorite and I have taken it to several picnics and BBQs and it's always a bit hit. At serving time if pasta seems a little dry, drizzle with some olive oil and mix again.
